US ICE Detains Over 10,000 People in Past 5 Days - Reports

WASHINGTON, July 2 (RIA Novosti) - US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have detained more than 10,000 people nationwide over the past five days, The New York Times reported, citing US officials and internal agency documents. According to the report, over 2,400 people were detained on June 27 alone. More than 63,000 people are currently being held in temporary detention centers, the outlet reported on Wednesday​​​.
