Russia’s Aeroflot to Resume Direct Flights to Sri Lanka in October - Sri Lankan Minister

MOSCOW, June 12 (RIA Novosti) - Russian flag carrier Aeroflot will resume direct flights to Sri Lanka from Moscow in early October, Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of Tourism Ruwan Ranasinghe told RIA Novosti. "Aeroflot flights will resume in October, on October 4," Ranasinghe said. According to him, the lack of direct air service is negatively impacting tourism in the country​​​.
