Qatar to Allow Foreigners With Residence Permit to Serve in Army - Defense Ministry

DOHA, June 11 (RIA Novosti) - Qatar will allow foreigners who were born in the country and have a residence permit to enlist for military service, the Qatari Defense Ministry said on Thursday. "Children of Qatari mothers born to foreigners and individuals who are not Qatari citizens but were born in the country are now eligible to enlist in the military, expanding opportunities for military service in Qatar," the ministry wrote on X.  Candidates......
