ECB Upgrades Eurozone Inflation Forecast for 2026 to 3% From 2.6% - Regulator

MOSCOW, June 11 (RIA Novosti) - The European Central Bank (ECB) on Thursday upgraded its eurozone inflation forecast for 2026 to 3% from 2.6%. "In the baseline of the new Eurosystem staff projections, headline inflation is expected to average 3​​​.0% in 2026, 2.3% in 2027 and 2.0% in 2028," the statement said. The ECB also downgraded its forecast of the eurozone GDP growth for 2026 to 0.8% from 0.9% and in 2027 to 1.2% from 1.3%....
