GOBABIS, 05 JUN (NAMPA) – The Acting Inspector General (IG) of the Namibian Police Force, Major General Anne-Marie Nainda, visited the Trans-Kalahari Border Post on Thursday.
According to a brief statement by NamPol in the Omaheke Region, the purpose of the acting IG’s visit was to engage with officials stationed at the Namibia-Botswana border and assess the well-being and working conditions of police officers deployed at the border.

WINDHOEK, 04 June 2026 - The Roads Authority (RA) will install speed humps at selected locations along the B1 Western Bypass and a section of the A1 Road in the Khomas Region from Friday, following a rise in pedestrian-related crashes that have claimed lives on both routes.
