Intra-African trade can drive Namibia’s economic transformation: Mene

WINDHOEK, 26 MAY (NAMPA) - Intra-African trade, which currently accounts for 18 per cent of Africa’s total trade, has the potential to drive Africa and Namibia’s economic transformation through the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
This was said by AfCFTA Secretary-General, Wamkele Mene, while delivering the keynote address in Windhoek on Monday during the 25th session of the Theo-Ben Gurirab Lecture Series.
