Study: German industry revenue rises for first time since 2023

Frankfurt (dpa) - German industry increased its revenue in the first quarter for the first time since 2023, but continued to cut jobs on a large scale, according to a study. The study by consultancy EY, based on data from the Federal Statistical Office and seen by dpa, found that the number of people employed in industry fell to 5.3 million by the end of the first quarter.
