Germany hits 30 degrees for the first time this year

Berlin (dpa) - Germany recorded temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius for the first time this year on Saturday, the German Weather Service (DWD) said. The south-western state of Baden-Württemberg saw the highest temperatures, with 31.5 degrees recorded in Waghäusel-Kirrlach, near Karlsruhe, and in Heidelberg. In Regensburg, Bavaria, the temperature reached 31.4 degrees. Temperatures of 31 degrees were recorded in Neunkirchen-Wellesweiler in Saarl......
