Spain midfielder Fermin Lopez is set to miss this summer's World Cup after his club Barcelona diagnosed him with a foot fracture on Monday which requires surgery. The 23-year-old would likely have been called up by Spain coach Luis de la Fuente for the tournament this summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
