KATIMA MULILO, 12 MAY (NAMPA) - Katima Mulilo Mayor Kabende Kabende has said nursing is a calling built on humanity, compassion and service.

Kabende made the remarks during International Nurses Day celebrations held at the Katima Mulilo Open Market on Tuesday under the theme, ‘Our Nurses. Our Future: Empowered Nurses Save Lives.’

He said the town joined the rest of the world in celebrating both a profession and a calling.
