Stellantis announced on Friday it was considering strengthening its alliance with Leapmotor so the Chinese group can produce its own cars at two of the European auto manufacturer's Spanish plants, possibly becoming a co-owner of a Madrid facility. The plan foresees Leapmotor producing its B10 car at the Stellantis plant in Zaragoza, while an Opel-branded SUV would be produced in partnership between the two groups.
