Iran hanged a man on Sunday who had been convicted of involvement in the killing of a security forces volunteer during anti-government protests in 2022, state media said. Mehrab Abdollahzadeh had been arrested in connection with months-long demonstrations which broke out in September that year following the death in custody of Mahsa Amini, according to state television.
