EU Must Prepare for US' Diminished Role in Conventional Defense of Europe - Commissioner

MOSCOW, April 20 (RIA Novosti) - The European Union must come to terms with the fact that the United States intends to scale back its role in the conventional defense of Europe, European Commissioner for Defense and Space Andrius Kubilius said on Monday. "We need to understand that our transatlantic partners are strategically planning to diminish their role in conventional defense of Europe down to their secondary role," Kubilius told the Europea......
