Earthquake Magnitude Estimate in Japan Raised to 7.7 Magnitude - Meteorological Agency

TOKYO, April 20 (RIA Novosti) - The Japanese Meteorological Agency raised on Monday the estimate of the magnitude of the earthquake that occurred in the northeast to 7.7 magnitude. Earlier in the day, the Japanese Meteorological Agency said that a magnitude 7​​​.5 earthquake occurred in the northern part of the Japanese island of Honshu in the Pacific Ocean in the area of Aomori and Iwate prefectures.
