WASHINGTON, April 12 (RIA Novosti) - Thousands of people gathered at the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Washington overnight to celebrate Orthodox Easter and take part in a cross procession along one of the US capital's central streets, a RIA Novosti correspondent said on Sunday.
