Delays on Berlin-Munich rail link after overhead line ruptures

Magdeburg, Germany (dpa) - The rail link between Berlin and Munich was hit by delays on Sunday after an overhead line ruptured near the city of Wittenberg, the state-run Deutsche Bahn (DB) rail company said on Sunday. DB estimated the additional journey time between the cities at 30 minutes. Police estimated the damage in the hundreds of thousands of euros after the overhead line came down onto an ICE express service at Zahna-Elster, some 80 kilo......
