London (PA Media/dpa) - Ireland's Defence Forces are assisting with a major police operation targeting a blockade of the country's only oil refinery, after days of protest strangled fuel distribution nationwide. The Irish police service, An Garda Siochana, has restored access to the Whitegate oil refinery in Co Cork for fuel trucks amid the days-long blockade. It is leading the operation, but has also availing of the assistance of a Defence Force......
