A Republican candidate backed by US President Donald Trump has won a runoff House election in Georgia to replace influential right-wing lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene, according to media projections on Wednesday. Clay Fuller defeated Democrat Shawn Harris for the US House of Representatives seat in Georgia's 14th Congressional District, according to projections by CNN and CBS news after 99 percent of votes were counted.
