Japan Plans to Cut LNG Use by Boosting Coal Power Output - Economy Minister

TOKYO, April 7 (RIA Novosti) - Tokyo intends to curb liquefied natural gas (LNG) consumption to secure a reliable energy supply and ramp up operations at coal-fired power plants, Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Ryosei Akazawa said on Tuesday.
