WINDHOEK, 31 MAR (NAMPA) - The Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) has approved a five per cent increase in monthly pension benefits for pensioners and qualifying beneficiaries, effective 01 April 2026.
The increase applies to all pensioners, as well as eligible spouses and child beneficiaries receiving payments from the fund. Pensions that have been in payment or deferment for less than a year as of 31 March 2025 will receive the adjustm...
