Shots fired in western German city, police report injuries

Dusseldorf (dpa) - Shots were fired in the city centre of the western German city of Mönchengladbach on Thursday evening, police said, adding that there were injuries. Three men were taken to hospital by ambulance, according to a police spokeswoman at the scene. It was initially unclear whether there were any further injuries.
