MARIENTAL, 18 MAR (NAMPA) - Vice President Lucia Witbooi on Wednesday officially launched the Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) Pension-Backed Home Loan Scheme (PBHLS) in Mariental, describing it as a strategic mechanism to address the national housing backlog.
The scheme allows active GIPF members to utilise a portion of their pension savings to acquire, build, or improve homes, including in unproclaimed rural areas.
