Scottish lawmakers rejected a bill on Tuesday that would have legalised assisted dying, as a similar bid in England and Wales stalls in Westminster's upper chamber. After debating for more than two hours, regional lawmakers voted down the bill by 69 votes to 57. The proposed law, if passed by parliament and approved by the British government, would have allowed Scots with a terminal illness and a life expectancy of six months or less to seek help......
