Congo-Brazzaville's 82-year-old President Denis Sassou Nguesso has been re-elected with nearly 95 percent of the vote, according to provisional results announced on Tuesday. Sunday's election in the oil-rich central African country extends Sassou Nguesso's cumulative 42 years in power for another five years.
