UniCredit tells Commerzbank it's time to talk after 'hostile' bid

Frankfurt (dpa) - Italian bank UniCredit urged German lender Commerzbank to agree to talks after submitting an official takeover bid, a step that was swiftly met with condemnation in Frankfurt and Berlin. "Our message to Commerzbank today is: it is now time to talk," UniCredit CEO Andrea Orcel said during a conference call.
