TOKYO, March 16 (RIA Novosti) - Japan's Economy Minister has ordered oil companies to "reduce their oil reserves," according to documents from the Japanese government's official gazette. "Based on the 1975 Law on the Maintenance of Oil Reserves, a decision has been made to reduce the basic oil reserve," the decree says.
