An Israeli strike hit Beirut's southern suburbs late Sunday evening, Lebanese media said, after Israel's military issued an evacuation warning in the morning covering several neighbourhoods in the area. AFP correspondents in the Lebanese capital heard a loud explosion, the latest strike on Hezbollah's south Beirut stronghold which Israel has hit repeatedly since the latest conflict with the Iran-backed group erupted this month. lg/rlp ...
