UK university confirms meningitis death in Canterbury area

London (PA Media/dpa) - The University of Kent has confirmed that a student was one of two people who have died as a result of meningitis in the Canterbury area. "We are deeply saddened to confirm that one student from the University of Kent has died following a case of invasive meningitis," a statement said Sunday.
