London (PA Media/dpa) - Soaring energy prices caused by the war in Iran means an interest rate cut next week "makes no sense," with future reductions also hanging in the balance, economists have said. Economists have changed their opinion on what will happen to interest rates following the escalation of conflict in the Middle East.
