Vietnam to Hold General Election on Sunday

MOSCOW, March 15 (RIA Novosti) - Vietnamese voters will go to the polls on Sunday to determine the composition of the Southeast Asian country's unicameral parliament and elect members of municipal councils for the 2026-2031 term. Nearly 73.5 million voters are expected to cast ballots in the election that will see 864 candidates running for 500 seats in the National Assembly​​​.
