As Hollywood grapples with existential questions and fickle audiences, one of its top stars, Ryan Gosling, has a simple credo. "In this stage of my life, if I'm going to make films, I want it to be a film that is worth going to the theatre to see," the Canadian actor told journalists in Paris.
