Ex-Germany captain Popp to leave Wolfsburg for Dortmund

Dusseldorf (dpa) - Former Germany women's national team captain Alexandra Popp will leave Wolfsburg after 14 years in the close season and join third-division team Borussia Dortmund. The 2016 Olympic champion, 34, won two Champions Leagues, seven Bundesliga titles and 11 German Cups at Wolfsburg since arriving in 2012.
