Rome's city council on Friday voted overwhelmingly in favour of Serie A club Roma's plan to build a new stadium in the northeast of the Italian capital with a view to hosting Euro 2032 games. Thirty-nine of the 44 city councillors agreed to the "technical and economic feasibility study" presented by the club for the project due to start in 2027.
