Traditional leaders call for better rural services as Namibia marks 36 years of freedom

OPUWO, 13 MAR (NAMPA) – Traditional leaders in the Kunene Region have called for improved access to government services in remote communities, saying many residents still struggle to obtain national identity documents despite the gains of independence.
They shared their views on Namibia’s independence, highlighting progress made since 1990 as the country prepares to celebrate 36 years of independence.
