Israel calls residents south of Lebanon's Litani River to evacuate ahead of airstrikes

JERUSALEM, March 10 (Xinhua) -- Israel renewed its warning on Tuesday for residents of southern Lebanon to evacuate areas south of the Litani River ahead of "forceful" airstrikes in the region. "Airstrikes are continuing as the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) is operating with great force in the region," Avichay Adraee, an IDF spokesman, wrote in a post on social media platform X.
