The kidnapped mother and sister of an exiled opposition figure were freed Monday in Guinea, where the disappearance of relatives of government opponents has been on the rise. The mother and sister of Tibou Kamara, a former minister and spokesman under ex-leader Alpha Conde, had been "forcibly taken away" last Tuesday evening by men in fatigues in Dinguiraye, northeastern Guinea.
