Hundreds join strike for women's rights in Berlin

Berlin (dpa) - Hundreds of protesters demonstrated at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on Monday as part of a strike for women's rights. The aim of the initiative, titled "Enough!", was to symbolically interrupt paid and unpaid work and highlight how much societies depend on women's labour. According to spokeswoman Rita Schuhmacher, people also took to the streets in other cities including Bonn, Cologne, Tübingen, Munich and Bremen. The rallies,......
