Taiwan beat Vietnam 1-0 in stifling heat in Perth to blow Group C wide open at the Women's Asian Cup on Saturday. Taiwan, beaten 2-0 by Japan in their tournament opener, scored the only goal of the game in the 26th minute through Su Yu-hsuan when she nodded in from close range.
