MultiChoice announces discontinuation of Showmax service

WINDHOEK, 05 MAR (NAMPA) - MultiChoice, a subsidiary of CANAL+, on Thursday announced the impending discontinuation of its Showmax service, following the review of its streaming operations.
The decision, taken by the Showmax Board of Directors, follows losses incurred by the business. MultiChoice, a CANAL+ Company, said the move forms part of efforts to strengthen financial discipline and refocus investment within the streaming environment.
