IMF's $8.1Bln Loan for Ukraine Allows Use for Military Needs – Mission Chief

WASHINGTON, February 27 (RIA Novosti) – The International Monetary Fund's new $8.1 billion loan for Ukraine does not prevent Kiev from using it for military needs, IMF mission chief Gavin Gray said on Friday in response to a question from RIA Novosti. "As with all IMF programs … resources are not earmarked. They help the authorities address the balance of payments gap. I think that's a conceptual point," Gray said....
