CAPE TOWN, 11 FEB (NAMPA) – African mining leaders have urged countries on the continent to define critical minerals according to their own industrial and economic priorities, a position with implications for Namibia’s lithium, uranium and rare earth sectors.
The sentiments were expressed during a panel discussion at the African Mining Indaba in Cape Town, South Africa, on Tuesday.
