Türkiye seizes 1.2 tons of narcotics, detains 144 in major anti-narcotics raids

ISTANBUL, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Turkish police have seized 1.24 tons of narcotics and detained 144 suspected drug dealers in nationwide operations over the past 10 days, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on Monday. During the raids, police also seized 1.83 million drug pills, Yerlikaya said in a statement on social platform X.
