Poll: Most Germans favour more aid for Ukraine, worry about wider war

Berlin (dpa) - Most people in Germany are willing to provide greater support to Ukraine as it seeks to fend off the full-scale Russian invasion, according to a survey. Some 52% of respondents said that the West should provide more assistance to Ukraine if Russia is not prepared to agree to a ceasefire and peace negotiations.
