NKURENKURU, 05 FEB (NAMPA) - A 74-year-old man from Nduno village in the Kavango West Region was trampled to death by an elephant in the early hours of Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Thomas Kandandu.
The Namibian Police Force’s (NamPol) Regional Commander for Kavango West, Commissioner Julia Sakuwa-Neo, told Nampa the incident occurred around 04h00 while Kandandu and his wife were walking to their crop field.
