The European Union said Tuesday it has opened an in-depth investigation into Chinese clean energy giant Goldwind over concerns the firm benefited from state subsidies that distorted competition within the 27-nation bloc. The European Commission, acting as the EU's antitrust regulator, said the probe comes after a preliminary investigation found the wind turbine maker "may have been granted foreign subsidies that distort the internal market". ub/e......
