Spanish inflation drops to 7-month low in January

Madrid (dpa-AFX) - Spanish consumer price inflation eased to a 7-month low in January, flash estimates from the statistical office INE revealed on Friday. The consumer price index rose 2.4% year-on-year in January, which was slower than the 2.9% increase seen in December and the slowest rate since last June.
