S. Korea's industrial output growth hits 5-year low in 2025

SEOUL, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's industrial output growth hit a five-year low last year owing to the political uncertainty in the first half, statistical ministry data showed Friday. The industrial production index gained 0.5 percent in 2025 from a year earlier, marking the lowest since 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic rocked the Asian economy, according to the Ministry of Data and Statistics.
