Japanese Foreign Ministry Warns Citizens in India About Nipah Virus Risk

MOSCOW, January 27 (RIA Novosti) - The Japanese Foreign Ministry on Tuesday issued a warning to Japanese citizens in India about the risk of Nipah virus infection amid confirmed cases in the Kolkata area of the West Bengal state. "Japanese citizens currently in India or planning to travel there are urged to take precautions to prevent infection," the ministry said.
