S. Korea's foreign currency deposit grows for 2nd month in December

SEOUL, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's foreign currency deposit grew for the second straight month due to solid demand for the U.S. and the European currencies, central bank data showed Monday. The deposit, denominated in foreign currencies, advanced 15.88 billion U.S. dollars from a month earlier to 119.43 billion dollars at the end of December 2025, after rising 1.71 billion dollars in the previous month, according to the Bank of Korea (BO......
