Kunene targets nearly 40 000 children in two-round polio vaccination campaign

OPUWO, 23 JAN (NAMPA) – More than 39 300 children under the age of 10 are being targeted in a major polio vaccination campaign set to take place across the Kunene Region.
Jason Ndahepele, Chief Health Programme Officer for the Kunene Region, told Nampa on Friday that the campaign will be conducted in two rounds, with the first scheduled for 26 to 29 January 2026, and the second for 24 to 27 February 2026.
